Great Intentions Without Action is Wishful Thinking PDF Print E-mail
Monday, 19 January 2009

Hello Play Big Community!

Last night Jason and I went to see the panel discussion sequel to The Secret. If you haven’t seen The Secret by now, you probably haven’t eaten at McDonald’s either.

I love how Bob Proctor states that the Law of Attraction, like gravity, works whether you understand it or not. We attract into our lives what we are focused upon consciously or subconsciously. Whether our focus is positive or negative doesn’t matter, we will manifest what we think about all day long.

Of all the great thinkers on the panel, there was one common thread in their discussion of how you realize the life of your dreams. You must have a vision, focus on it constantly and most importantly take ACTION. My personal (and colorful) interpretation of this concept is as follows: Faith minus action equals mental masturbation! The most beautiful, inspiring and detailed vision board in the world is useless without action in the direction of your dreams.

It is imperative that we keep our attention on our intention, but we must take daily action steps to manifest our vision in the material world. The action steps usually require some Little Voice Mastery to keep procrastination and fear of failure at bay. Fear of failure and fear of embarrassment are the two primary fears that keep our intentions in the spirit world and out of the material world.

If you enjoyed The Secret, keep an eye out for the sequel coming to select markets. Understand that intention and action are like the engine and the chassis; they are both integral parts in the formula of getting from where we are to where we want to be.

Playing Above the Line PDF Print E-mail
Monday, 19 January 2009
How many of you could use some more Cash Flow? Great – we all could. I have never met anybody that did not want more Cash Flow to come pouring into their world. SalesPartners Atlanta has been working with thousands of entrepreneurs, business owners, sales teams, and sales professionals teaching, educating and showing them how to Increase Sales & Cash Flow 15-85% within weeks. Below is one of the most fundamental principles to follow – “Playing Above the Line”.

If you want to increase sales and cash flow, then you will need to become aware and take on more responsibility. What I mean by this statement is that you need to be willing to take full ownership and responsibility for where you are currently – your net present position. Your sales and your cash flow are directly related to your behaviors, which can be tied directly to your mindset and attitude – especially as it relates to taking responsibility. Instead of being responsible, most people will fall into the following traps:

Denial
– When things are tough and not going in the direction that you would like, most people will deny that they are actually suffering. When asked how things are, they often respond by saying, “Things are good – just trying to get things going.

Lay Blame – After you move out of denial, you will tend to get defensive about your lackluster position and you will begin to lay blame on external forces like the economy, other people, your team, your friends, and sometimes your family.

Justify
– I am sure none of you have done this. If you cannot find somebody to blame, you will begin to justify your position by saying, “Nobody is making any sales in this economy” or if I just had more leads, then I could make some more sales, etc.

Quit
– When all else fails, most folks will have run out of people, things, and circumstances to blame and so they do the inevitable – they quit!

I challenge not to focus on external things to lay blame and justify your position with, instead play above the line and take full responsibility for your thoughts, actions, and results and I guarantee you will begin to attract the right resources into your life and you will find yourself in the right circumstances. Some call this being lucky – I call it being responsible.

There are many strategies to increasing sales and cash flow, but nothing makes sense unless you have the foundational pieces in place to optimize it and do it consistently. When you know exactly how to implement the above 6 Steps – you control your future. Discover more on how to implement these critical 6 Steps. Cash flow pattern of the rich vs. the poor and middle class PDF Print E-mail
Wednesday, 07 January 2009

Hello Play Big Community!

When you see the words “financial statements” what comes to mind? How do those two words make you feel? For most entrepreneurs these words conjure up feelings of dread and ignorance. As a matter of fact, the Small Business Administration tells us that less than 7% of business owners have financial statements much less understand them.

As a finance major, I can attest that unless you work with financial statements on a regular basis, the skill becomes rusty. Robert Kiyosaki has always shouted from the top of the mountain that you must be able to read the numbers in order to get rich. At Sales Partners, we shout from the top of the mountain that you have to be “accountable to the numbers”.

Given a working understanding of financial statements, the rich have a much different cash flow pattern than the poor and middle class. The rich first buy/invest in assets that create the passive income that allows them to buy liabilities i.e. cars, boats and “doo dads”. The poor and middle class, however, spend their money on liabilities first and never have the resources left over to invest in assets.

The cash flow pattern of the poor and middle class typically begins as W2 income from a job, flows towards liabilities and ultimately goes out the door as expenses. The cash flow pattern of the rich typically begins as money invested into an asset i.e. business or investment real estate. These assets then create the passive income that can be spent on liabilities. Remember Robert Kiyosaki’s definition of financial independence: having enough passive income to pay your monthly expenses.

Remember – don’t kill the Golden Goose to live High on the Hog!

Little Voice Mastery in ACTION! PDF Print E-mail
Wednesday, 07 January 2009

Hello Play Big Community!

Welcome to the first blog of 2009. In the spirit of “Playing a Bigger Game” in the new year, Jason and I decided to do a 10 day juice fast/cleanse in order to detox after the Holidays and lose some unwanted pounds. Can anybody relate??

If you have never done a juice and/or water fast before, I highly recommend the experience as it is the ultimate form of Little Voice Mastery! My good friend, Patrick O’Connor, inspired me to do my first fast in August of 2008. If the subject is remotely appealing, you can learn all you need to know via Patrick’s website www.TheFastingPath.com.

Most of us have never had to worry about the whereabouts of our next meal. Therefore, the prospect of voluntarily giving up food is a phenomenal exercise in self-control. You quickly realize how much time we spend thinking about food, planning around food, shopping for food and EATING food! In our society, eating is a recreational sport and it is not until we fast that we realize how much we over eat.

Yes, the hunger can be slightly uncomfortable at times, but it is a mental game of becoming comfortable with being uncomfortable. One of your little voices tells you that you are starving to death and another little voice reminds you that you are in complete control and doing something that very few people are willing to do.

In business and personal life, we have multiple little voices speaking to us all times. Champions learn to manage those voices and choose the conversations that best serve us. Others give into their emotions and fail to exercise discipline in the moment of truth…..CHOICE!

We hope you have a phenomenal year and always remember to…....
